Greg is right. They're the Lakers. They have always been a powerful franchise (except for like '03 to '07) and now they're powerful again. Either you hate them, or you love them. They're kind of like the Earnhardts in Nascar.

I think they can it will certainly boost there chances and with Gasol on the team. Those 2 will provide the necessary inside presence the Lakers need.

Look at there starting line-up

SF: Odom

PF: Gasol

C: Bynum

SG: Bryant

PG: Fisher

Lakers bench are also playing great and is one of the key to win it all.

Bynum is a huge boost to there chances for a title but i think TEAM CHEMISTRY is still the key to win the championship this year.
